Class Evaluation

1) The things that i liked about this class was goals journal, its like our little planner with our future in it and to know how we can reach them and achieve it,  the goals journal helps you a lot and when you check off what you had on your list you feel proud.
2) The things i didnt like about the class was the reflection, i think its a bit too much to be doing every day, its good but try to do it less.
3) i do not have any recommendations for this class.
4) Life planning goals journal, i dont read it every day or update it that much but i will try my best to read them and update them.
5) I am committed to be a CTR person 24/7 because being a good person can lead you to great things and being a good person is not a bad thing, others think that being a good person is "boring", but it makes you feel good by doing the right things.
 6)  What i learned from this class was not to give up on what you want and to keep on going, think positive that you will succeed and the quotes we've read have inspired others.

The psychology of winning

The Psychology of Winning

Denis Waitley

The 10 Qualities of a Total Winner

Quality 1: Positive Self-Expectancy
"Life is a self fulfilling prophecy. True winners go into every event expecting to win."

Quality 2: Positive Self-Motivation
"True winners dig deep and find motivation inside themselves to get through that tough  or to learn a new skill"

Quality 3: Positive Self-Image
True winners are confident and view themselves as competent, valuable human beings"

Quality 4: Positive Self-Direction
You gotta have direction if you are going to go anywhere.
True winners know where they are going. Their sense of direction comes from the self and not from the outside influences like parents or friends.

Quality 7: Positive Self-Esteem
Your mood and outlook on life affect the way you see the world and how you interact in it. Total winners are positive, powerful people who make you feel good and provide a good vibe to those around him/her.

Quality 8: Positive Self-Dimension
Total winners like in the present. They know that now is all there is. They dont get caught up in the past or worry about the future. They simply handle the business that they can handle which is the stuff going on today, now.

Quality 9: Positive Self-Awareness
Total winners are aware of their power. They understand that they can be anything with enough effort and determination.

Quality 10: Positive Action
Total winners take positive action in their business and with their friends and family. They are uplifting and motivating individuals who inspire the best for themselves and other.

Six rules to make people like you

How to win friends and influence people

Rule 1 Become genuinely interested with other people.
1) "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2) "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3) "Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."

all these three steps mean that in order to make people interested with you and be friends with you, show them great kindness, show them respect i mean we don't want to be friends with people who is disrespectful. be yourself and don't change, there will be people who might not like you but you have others who will.

Rule 2: Smile
1) "Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) or friends."

Smiling always makes peoples days, i remember my tia telling me once that at her job she would always go to work with a smile because she was glad that she would wake up everyday and see her family, one of the co workers at her job , had went up to here and told her that she would put a smile on her face because she liked how she would come in with a positive attitude. just smile can make you feel happy and blessed

Rule 3: Remember names
1) "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2) 'If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
"If you aspire to be good conversationalist, be an attentive listener."
"Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and his wants and his problems than he is in you and your problems."

Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest
"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures the most."

Rule 6: Make the other person feel important and do it sincerely.
"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human  nature." (John Dewey) "Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."

9 Ways

9 Ways to be happy and Make something of your life

Gordon B. Hinckley

                    1. Be Grateful
Image result for grateful We should always be grateful all the time, we should be grateful for what we have or who we have in our life. be grateful that we have people around us that love and support us, be grateful that you have a home, be grateful that you have food, be grateful that you're in a school getting the good education. not a lot of people out there can't get any of these, i wish they can! just remember all the greatness that you've gotten and be grateful about it.
                   2. Be Smart
Be smart with your decision, be smart with your
actions. be smart on everything, it can lead you to a good path. For example,
your friend has offered you a cigarette what do you do take it? or leave it? and
what is the smart thing to do? of course don't take it. making smart choices can
lead to to new and great things that others can't do! be wise

                 3. Be Involved
Be involved with something thats gonna make you happy and that will be a good
experience for you, be involved with important things

                 4. Be Clean
be organized, be neat, make yourself clean by not doing all those terrible things like drugs, alcohol, just stay away from the bad things

                5. Be True
remember to always be true to yourself and to others, being true shows others that you're someone who they can trust and gives respect. being true can lead you too a good path, not being true to yourself feels like you're trapped in this little box and sometimes letting out truths will make you feel a little bit better.

                6. Be Positive
The great way to continue being happy is to be positive all the time, being positive can make you feel good about yourself and others, you can have a more relaxing day. its like having faith, being negative wont do you any good, you can feel trapped.

               7. Be Humble

               8. Be Still

              9. Be Prayerful
To me this means we should thank god every day, for blessing us with a beautiful family, amazing friends, and having people around you who supports you, praying for others is good to do, you dont have to do it all the time but if its important for you you can go ahead. how can prayer make your life happy? praying for others makes you feel peaceful. Prayers are always answered, sometimes they dont but that doesnt mean your prayer is being ignored, you just have to wait patiently, because he has a plan for you.
